Ich habe noch die alte Purelure Lubina* in 2.58m Medium und das neue Modell in 2.40m geht nochmal stärker in Richtung Regular Action, zumindest soweit ich beide Ruten vergleichen kann. Die alte Lubina war definitiv keine Jigge und auch die neue setzt diesen Weg fort. Sie biegt sich unter Last bis ins Mittelteil, bietet aber trotzdem eine schnelle Rückstellung. Die alte Lubina habe ich hauptsächlich zum Zanderwobbeln eingesetzt, doch ich denke, dass die neue Pro dieses Einsatzgebiet optimal ablösen wird. Besonders der optische Fortschritt beeindruckt mich und die kompaktere Länge von 2.40m bietet mir als Ufer- und Bootsangler den perfekten Kompromiss zwischen Reichweite und Handling. Die Rute ist nicht nur fürs Wobbeln, sondern auch ideal zum Cranken oder für verschiedene Rigs. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die hochwertige Fuji Alconite Beringung und der Fuji Rollenhalter, die der Rute eine exzellente Verarbeitung und Stabilität verleihen. Der T1100G x M40X Blank der neuen Lubina steht für höchste Performance.

How is this rod compared to the old flight dance? Is it top heavy as well? I am looking for a seawater rod that can cast up to 24-26g jerkbait minnows (wobblers), as well as 20g jigs, but also to be able to go for a bit of pike and zander fishing using cranks and softlures with jigs. I really like the new Flight Dance with its m40x + t1100g blank, but the length that I like, 2.4m, only offers 5-24g and I don’t want to go for the heavier versions. Will the new Lubina Pro do the job? What reel (size and grams) does the 802M version balance with? I have been watching your reviews and this one seems the best so far, but do you have other recommendations, because it is one thing to read specifications on paper, it is another to have the rod in hand and test it on the water.

the Lubina would be a good rod for minnows and also for pike fishing. For zander fishing, especially for jigging, the Lubina would be too parabolic in my opinion. Its significantly softer compared to the Dance. I fish the Lubina with a 3000 reel with a weightaround 220g, the balance is fine with.
